[01] Pangya United
A long time ago, the demon king was out to drain the energy source from Pangya island. A hero stepped up and defeated the demon king. His dark energy was locked inside a core shaped of a sphere. The sealed core was then split into two where one piece landed in the demonic realm while the other on Pangya island. Cadie is in possession of that half of the core that landed on the island and concealed it deep within the magical academy.
December 3rd, 2009
Time has passed since his defeat and the Open Tournament chapter begins. This time, the demon king may resurrect once again to take over Pangya island. Demon's land has been causing a paranormal disturbance on the island. The time has come to open a new tournament to find the next chosen hero to save the island once again.
The core has been reacting to the other core on demon's land that showed signs of the evil presence is getting stronger each passing day. Cadie knew that the core needs to be put back together to prevent the demon lord from awakening. Cadie has summoned Nell that has been trained under her care for one year. Cadie has entrusted Nell to collect the fragments of time and aid the other Pangya warriors to stop the dark power from awakening.

Once rented, it'll last for 7 real-time days. Rented outfits will not be downsized either so it'll have card slots and their default stats included.
There are "General" and "Rental" tab in the shop. Once you select "Rental" you'll be given a list of what you can rent and how much pangs it'll cost. The time limit will always be 7 real-time days and the stats will not be altered from the cookie outfits.
Once rented, it'll display a timer on how long it'll last. You may equip it and add cards however you like.
Once it expires it'll show an "Expiration" tab over it.
If you click on it, you'll be given an option to extend the rental period, delete it, or to go back. Extending the rental period will cost the same and give you another full week. If you choose to delete it, then you can rent it again later on.
There's an icon on the upper right corner that'll display how many items you have rented that has already expired.
Note
- You cannot rent character's motion item, devil wings, or seasonal/event outfits
- You can attach cards to rented outfits and accessories.
- 7 days is the only time limit available to rent.
- Level requirements to rent outfits is the same as regular cookie outfits.
- Once your rental expires, you can choose to delete or renew again.
- Renewal fee costs the same as renting it for the first time.
- Expired outfits can be removed from your inventory and you can go back and rent the same one again.
- Expired outfits with equipped cards on it cannot be deleted unless you remove all the cards first.
- You must delete the rental item first from your inventory before you can purchase it with cookies.
[09] Caddie Upgrades
Caddy purchasing, pang hiring fees, and stats will be altered due to the new upgrade system. Since both Cadie and Titanboo are popular due to their high control boost, this made all the other caddies feel left out. Now with this new system, you can enjoy using different Caddies without having to worry about losing control.
If you already purchased these caddies before this new upgrade system, you can freely choose whether to upgrade them or leave it the way it is. Once you decide to upgrade, you cannot go back to their old stats. The renewal price on pang caddies will increase only if you decide to upgrade them.
Example of Caddies Upgrade System using Cadie:
Before Upgrade: First time purchase: 70,000 pang / 30 day renewal fee: 10,000 pang
After Upgrade: First time purchase: 100,000 pang / 30 day renewal fee: 40,000 pang

[11] Natural Server
On August 20, 2009, Korea has implemented a new Natural Server where both wind direction and strength becomes a mystery where you must play through natural instincts.
A new green look to the interface with multiple leaf images to represent natural server.
Green = 1~3m
Yellow = 4~6m
Red = 7~9m
Instead of numbers, you are treated with three different colors that indicates how strong the winds are. Checking the arrow speed won't do you any good either.
Wind angles will constantly sway back and forth.
You will earn more pangs on Natural server in comparsion to the Normal Server. Left image is normal and right image is natural. Look at the difference using Hole 10 from Eastern Valley scoring a tomahawk beam impact from the same distances.
*Not that I've tested this theory much, but I have tried using Silent Winds before on this server and it'll give you a green icon. But, that doesn't mean it's automatically 1m.
[12] Special Shuffle Course
SSC (Special Shuffle Course) is a new mode introduced in the new Open Tournament season. It's played just like a normal tournament with a mix of all the course and holes played out in a single round. The room will automatically be set to 30 minutes. You will be able to identify the room in the lobby that's highlighted in purple.
You cannot freely create these rooms. You must obtain a SSC coupon that may randomly pop out from the hole or you can obtain them from special events. This coupon is used to create the SSC room. You will receive prizes from this mode such as pang pouch given at the end of the hole, and special coins (only if you are the owner of the room). Once you have opened the SSC room, your coupon will be used up.
Regardless of owning a SSC coupon or not, you can freely join a SSC room that somebody has created. If you spot one that just opened by someone, be quick to enter since you cannot do 10 and go like a typical tournament where players can join in later. You cannot leave early using Tiki's Report Scroll either so when you are done, just sit tight. There are no course records involved, no course popularity treasure rate boost, and anything you do will not affect your performance records (ex. pangya rate, putt rate, etc).
As you play through the entire SSC round, you might be in West Wiz on one hole, while the next hole you are in Shining Sand. This will continue on through the rest of the first 17 hole round. You will not be able to see the next hole you are going to play next either. The dark eerie sky shown on every random course gives the new mode a different look. As you approach the final 18th hole, you will be treated to a new and bizarre course unlike you've seen.
On the 18th hole in SSC, you will be standing on a small island lifted high in the air where the hole will be located far down below from where you stand on the tee. So far there are only two special shuffle courses available.
On the last hole, everyone will receive a pang pouch from the hole with a random amount inside.
As an incentive bonus, there may be one or more lucky players in the room that will receive the jackpot pang pouch that will be displayed on the chat-log with your name and the amount of pangs you receive from the jackpot. You may receive new items from your treasure boxes that you normally do not receive from any other modes (such as card vials). Also, the chip-in bonus on the SSC hole is pretty high so do your best. (ex. gained around 2k pangs for toma chipping on SSC Hole2)
Regular Pang Pouch (1,500 2,000 10,500 11,000)
*based on personal experience from play*
Jackpot Pang Pouch (15,000 100,000 105,000 500,000)
*based on personal experience from play*
SSC Hole 1 | SSC Hole 2
Only the owner of the room will receive SSC coins at the end of the round. The amount of coins received determines, 1) the amount of players from the beginning and 2) how many have stayed in the room until the very end. So if there were 30 players when you started the room, and there are 27 players left before time is up (3 people d/c) then you'll receive a total of 30 + 27 = 57 coins.
On 4-22-10, you are finally able to spend your SSC coins on Cadie's Magic Box. You can exchange x3 SSC coins for x1 Scratch ticket. Then collect x10 Scratch ticket to transform into a complete Scratch card.
[13] Award Medals
Receiving an award from the tournament for making the longest chip-in or the fastest player in the room doesn't give you anything special for it. This time you will get something in return by collecting these medals you've earned and exchange them in Cadie's Magic Box for a nice prize. These items will be given to a random Character that you can wear and it grants you some wacky abilities that you can perform in the chat room.
When you exchange your prize medals, you will randomly receive that item for a random Character. Once created, it only lasts 7 real-time days before it disappears. You cannot sell or buy these items in chatroom. Also, it does not contain cardslots on them either.

Your head size will be larger. Type "/왕머리" in the chatroom to activate. Redeem 5 Longest Putt Medals to receive one for a random Character that will last up to 10 real time days.
More new prize medal items may be added in the near future.
[14] Accurate Powercuts
When you select your power, it will actually tell you the exact yards that you will be hitting. Back then when using auto-calipers it would read the powercuts for you, but it was in whole numbers that was either rounded up or down. This time with the new system, it will give you the exact cuts with decimal points. With auto-calipers, the sensitivity on the "Z & X" keys is more precise to get the exact cut you need if you don't like overlapping the powerbar with the mouse. So again, it will tell you the exact power you selected with or without auto calipers. Remember though, even without auto calipers with this new system, you still have to manually time your power just like before. This system has been implemented on 6-23-10.
[15] Fragments of Time
During Season 4, you may have obtained these fragments of time from treasure boxes, but there was nothing you could do with it. There are 4 different pieces (Spring, Summer, Fall, & Winter) throughout the course that determines which piece you will receive. You may receive the fall piece from Deep Inferno, or get the winter piece from Ice Spa, and so forth. With the release of Nell, the mystery behind the fragments of time has finally been revealed.
● These Fragments will always drop from specific courses during Tournament only.
● VS and other modes will drop a random fragment of time.
Fragment of Time (Spring)
Pink Wind, Eastern Valley, Sepia Wind, Wind Hill
Fragment of Time (Summer)
Blue Lagoon, Blue Moon, Blue Water, Silvia Cannon
Fragment of Time (Fall)
Lost Seaway, Shining Sand, Deep Inferno
Fragment of Time (Winter)
Ice Spa, West Wiz, Ice Cannon, White Wiz, Wiz Wiz
Chronos Season of Time
Each of the four fragments can be combined to create a mystical piece known as the Season of Chronos. It's main purpose is to create Nell's rare items. Think of the term "Chrono" like you are going back in time to obtain old rares for Nell.

[18] New Log-in System
Starting on November 18, 2010, there's a new log-in system where the old launcher becomes of no use anymore. You must log-in from their website instead using the new Gametree launcher.
If you attempt to launch the game the old fashion way, you will be treated with a message that you'll need to log-in from the website and launch from there instead. If you click yes, it'll take you to the main page.
Once you log-in, click on "Game Start". If you don't have a Gametree launcher installed, you'll get a message that will provide it for you to download before you can proceed further. Download speed may vary depending on your location, but the file size is not that big so it shouldn't be a problem. There may be times when there's a new patcher available to download, so take note of that.
Once you have the latest Gametree launcher, the only thing you have to do is log-in from the website, and click "Game Start".
[19] 2nd Password System
On February 24th, 2011, they added a tighter security system known as the 2nd password system that you must go through after logging into the game. The 2nd password system will be using numeric digits only.
Anybody who sees this for the first time must create it. You setup your numeric password (min-5 max-7). Input it twice to confirm.
After that, you are given two choices.
Either you proceed to the game now, As for players who didn't enter their information will be revoked on anything related on purchasing, mailbox, selling, and changing your nickname for 10 whole days. Once 10 days have passed, you will be free from these restrictions.
If you show proof of your identify in one of four choices given to you. If you show that your the real deal, then you can continue on with the game normally.
The benefits of players who have submitted their identify will be able to stay safe from any frauds that ever happens on their accounts.

3) Pang Coins Experiment
Pang Coins was first introduced in Wiz City. Each coin gives a random amount instead of a fixed amount. The amount you receive from the coins will not be shown unless you calculate the differences, but the coins will be added towards your pang amount when the round is over.
Wiz City doesn't include overdrive bonuses so your extra pocket money will come from Pang Coins instead. Coins are found on the Magic Carpet path and placed around the greens. On 12-8-11, Spin Cube has been added on both Blue Lagoon and Ice Spa courses.
As usual of me, I've become curious on how much these coins give you. I've discovered that these pang coins give a random amount somewhere between 17~40 pangs each. Now this has been tested on the Korean server so I don't have confirmation that the other servers are running this same formula or not.
I've been taking notes on how many pangs I've collected from the coins by playing a normal 18 hole tournament. So here's what I've gathered from these collected coins per round.
53 coins = 1,719 PP
61 coins = 1,659 PP
63 coins = 1,874 PP
64 coins = 2,000 PP
66 coins = 1,937 PP
68 coins = 1,784 PP
69 coins = 2,353 PP
84 coins = 3,386 PP
Since the coins doesn't tally up on your bonus pangs nor the result screen, I had to manually subtract the differences that I make per round. So for example, I made 68 coins and received 19,508 pangs total for that round (since I have pang mastery and other bonuses equipped). When I check the tournament result screen, I add both my main and bonus pangs together to get 17,724 pangs which excludes pang coins. So I do 19,508 - 17,724 to get 1,784 pangs and that's how I determine how much I've received from my coins.
[21] Scratch Plus
Pangya KR has upgraded their Scratch Card system on December 2011 with an auto win system called "Scratch Plus". If you don't receive a rare after a set amount of scratches, then you'll win a rare guaranteed. If there are more one rare, the system will give you a random rare. You can only receive this benefit once per scratch sets.
A number will indicate how many tries you have left until you automatically win a rare. If you happen to win a rare before the number reaches zero, the counter will reset back to default.
[22] Card Extract System
To remove card(s) from your outfit, you'll need two ingredients to create a card extractor. You'll need 1 test tube that you can purchase in the shop for 500 pangs each. Then you'll need a flower lily that is obtained from the hole at a random time.
Once you have fulfilled the requirements, you must go to Cadie's cauldron to create them one at a time.
Test Tube
How to obtain: Purchase in the shop for 500 Pangs each. Can be sold or bought from player shop.
Lily
How to obtain: May receive it from the hole when playing. Can be sold or bought from player shop.
Before you can remove card(s), you must select a card extractor you want to use first. Each of them have different success rates.
Then you pick an outfit to extract the cards. It must be un-equip for it to appear on the list.
When the extraction becomes successful, all the cards will be removed and put right back in your card book. If it was unsuccessful, the cards will remain on the selected outfit and you'll have to try again.
Low Card Extraction
Very common to find, but has a very low card extraction rate.
Medium Card Extraction
Fairly common to see, and has a decent card extraction rate.
High Card Extraction
The strongest rare extraction, and works exceptionally with a very high extraction rate.
