Hyperdimension Neptunia Mk2 brings RPGs to a different direction with game consoles and internet meme references. Do note that Mk2 is not a sequel from the first game, it is set in an alternate timeline where the CPU's younger sisters will take the center stage. This is a low-budget title so don't expect high presentation scores like Final Fantasy. Sadly, this is the kind of game that is underrated towards western gamers. What the goodness! A review of this game must be done!

Ready to go Skyward

Zelda Skyward Sword is the 16th title and also the celebration of their 25th anniversary. It's quite surprising that this old series still delivers new and refreshing ideas towards action-adventure genres.


I'm liking the new designs for Link and especially Zelda. Link's face has a western look to me, and his bee-stung lips is quite a noticeable feature too! The new look on Zelda has to be the best version of her ever! I highly favor her new look than her serious counterpart from the last few Zelda titles.

Fake PS3 Controller

I have placed an order from Amazon of an official PS3 controller that arrived this week. The seller I purchased from was selling the controller for a reasonable price and claims that the controller is an official product. I paid $45.00 and the standard shipping for their definition is air mail that I had to wait for about two weeks. I did have doubts that the price compared to what retail stores are selling for is too good to be true. When my controller finally arrived to me, I was right for being suspicious.

Atelier Totori Review

Once I got my hands on Atelier Totori, my social life was pretty much bleak at this point. Everything that I wanted from a JRPG was in my possession that I devoted most of my time on the game. My first Atelier game was the first one that was released for the Playstation 2, so I was still fairly new to the series.

Actually, it was thanks to Totori that got me into their Playstation 3 lineup when it was released last year for the Japanese version. After giving Atelier Rorona a try this year, I was instantly hooked. So I was highly looking forward to Totori's release date with much anticipation, and the next sequel delivered it a whole lot better than the first game with so many vast improvements.

After playing through Atelier Rorona completely with every ending and trophies , I'm heavily looking forward to the next Playstation 3 title, Atelier Totori: Alchemist of Arland. The story on Totori will take place five years later after Rorona. From all the Atelier games, Totori is the 12th installment of the series.

In case you have never heard of the series before, the term "Atelier" is the french word for "Workshop". So from that term, it heavily focuses on customized item creations, but there will be battles too. It's a Japanese RPG developed by Gust that works on Atelier and Ar Tonelico series. I just happened to become acquainted with Gust this year after playing through a couple of their titles so far.

Platinum comes home!

Home consoles for Blazblue Continuum Shift will receive two awesome updates that I've been waiting for: Platinum the Trinity and the new version 1.03 update. Xbox 360 has received this today, and PS3 will have to wait until Thursday. Even though PSN will still be down upon release, you can still get the free patch when you launch the game up, but not Platinum for now. People are saying this is released only in Japan

My Top 10 Favorite RPGs

Role-playing games has always been a major factor of my gaming experience since childhood. When I look back at all the titles I've played, I wasn't that surprised that most of my favorites came from old consoles. I suppose RPGs haven't evolved that much lately to make a difference like the old days when gaming was still growing. It makes me wonder if this genre will make another transcendence or not.

I will only go over the list of RPG games that I've actually played and finished it through to the end. I know these kinds of "My top favorites" list makes some people very emotional thinking I'm listing the best RPGs of all time. This is my list of RPGs that I consider a worthy title to me only. That means the majority of these games you will definitely disagree with, but attempting to provoke my list and change it to something that you consider better will serve no purpose towards my favorite list. Alicia Review

After playing around with Ntreev's new racing game, I think I grasped enough experience to make a review on it. During the end of 2009 and during 2010, players could try out the game that was either closed or open beta. Alicia's horse racing MMO may sound cheesy at first, but this game cannot be judged by first impressions. You just have to play the game to see it for yourself.

Once you sign-in from the website for the first time, you'll be treated with a character creation screen to pick your name, gender, eyes, mouth, body size, and voice. After that, you are ready to play the game. Your character will gain experience points as you play and it'll be used to unlock a variety of things.

BlazBlue CS2 PSP Impression

Blazblue Continuum Shift 2 has been released for both the PSP and 3DS this week in Japan. This is a great opportunity to prepare early before it arrives on home consoles for those who doesn't have arcade machines around your area (like me). I finally had a chance to experiment the new rebalanced version of CS2 that gave me mixed impressions. I'm using the PSP version and it's definitely giving me some troubles to get used to that stiff d-pad. Now I like to play Blazblue competitively, but don't expect any deep analysis from me talking about recovery time or frame startups because I'm not into all of that. I play by feel rather than depending on numbers.
