PWC 2012 will be streaming live on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at Bangkok, Thailand. Since this is streamed from Pangya TH site, I hope there won't be any connection hiccups due to oversea distance. I do like the video options on there where you can watch either in high or standard definition quality.
I have broadcasted last year's PWC, and I do plan on doing it again this year. The PWC 2011 stream from last year turned out pretty well where English speaking viewers could chat easier. My channel rules still applies so be sure to look over it before you participate. Just remember this one important rule, English language only.
As for commentary during the live event, it solely depends on whoever can join to talk along with me. I would like to have at least between 2 ~ 4 people that can commentate with me. So I'm looking for any volunteers where you have some knowledge behind the game and is in good standing with the Pangya community. And I'm not forcing this requirement, but it would be great if you can stay up all the way until the event is over. We will take this plan further on the comment box below.

I've noticed the countdown on the official PWC page is 10 hours longer than mine. I thoroughly checked the time differences and I don't see how it's different from what I researched. Odd.

I thought i'd visit there now out of curiosity but neither of the two pages are loading properly for me (well... it probably will in... an hour)
anyway does other people get this problem too? WHY is it that every single time i visit the pangya Th pages it's a horrendous lag fest??? it doesn't happen with Kr or Jp servers for me.
anyway currently.. those streaming pages are loading like... well even that gradient "background" is loading at... one pixel row per several seconds x_x.. I don't think i would be able to stream at all from there... not that i'd want to anyway since i can't read a word of thai and would prefer to stream from here where everybody would be speaking english lol..
Squid taught me how to tether with cell phones and i should be able to stream ok 3G/H thing

I don't know the difference between those two links, but it's better to know both just in case. Both pages load up fine for me, but I do remember Pangya TH website used to be very slow to me also, but now it has been loading fine so far to me.
I assume you have an unlimited data plan? Tethering is ok for simple stuff, but I'm not sure about watching streams though, stable wise. And if it becomes unwatchable on my channel, you can always check the archives.

Then again, I really don't know which software to use to capture people's voice. Either I find a Ventrilo server or Skype that I've never used before.
That's what I said about not staying up last year, but I ended up holding through till the end, haha.

Well it's up to you then. People make fun of my accent all the time and that doesn't stop me. I mean Joz is participating and I heard his accent from his DJ Max unboxing clip lol.
Sure, if you can't stay up, that's fine. Like I have previously said on the post, I'm not requiring anyone to stay up that late if they don't want to.
Ok, I may have figured out an ingenious way to capture our voices (including mine) during the feed.
My main desktop will be used to capture the PWC 2012 footage and have Skype running for our voices to be heard during my Twitch.TV stream.
Secondly, I will use my laptop to watch the main feed from Thailand's site and also sign on to Skype with a secondary account to talk with the group in sync.
As for participating commentators, we will schedule to have a LIVE test on Thursday, January 12th 9:00 PM EST to get ourselves situated early.
Be sure to add my Main Skype Account that will be our gathering group: "Peperoholic"
Oh boy! Jan 12th 9pm EST = Jan 13th 10am for me (Fri) and I have classes!...Well, I do have a break at 10.30am to 11am, so I suppose I can help during that period?

Hmm, talked with dat Kappa guy and I may experiment using xspilt which can integrate skype and screen capturing easier, I hope. Good thing I'm doing this very early, otherwise this would have been a mess.

Did another private test using Xsplit and it works great with Skype. Already had a few chat with silent Joz, Bells, and Q (lol).
Just a reminder that we are still meeting up this Thursday 9:00 PM EST on Skype. If you haven't added me yet, it's "peperoholic". We won't stay long, I just want to test everyone's audio pitch so everyone can be heard clearly on my stream.
