Pangya Japan has opened up a teaser page to reveal the new 18th course "Ice Inferno" with a bright and cold atmosphere look to it. The course was called Demon's Land that was assumed to be the official name, but later it was changed to Ice Inferno instead. As you may be aware of, we've already seen how the course looks like from two special holes from Special Shuffle Course.

The teaser site indicates that Pangya Japan will receive this course on February 9th, 2012. This was expected as the future content post indicated that a new course would be on its way before spring. The release date on other Pangya servers has not be revealed yet. Hell will be freezing over Pangya Island.

It's unusual for Pangya to announce a new course this soon. I'm kind of putting my expectations on average until I see the course myself. Although I feel like this course has been in development since Pangya KR's Open Tournament season.

That was certainly unexpected!
Totally looking forward to seeing what it's like. And hopefully KR, Thai, and Global will get releases dates close to that like with Wiz City.
And hopefully a new course after that 3-5 months after this one. :) (Still want my sky/cloud themed course)
That made me think of the Sky Sanctuary stage from Sonic series.
I hope they change the name if the map. o_O

I don't see why they didn't stick with Demon's Land name in the first place. Sounds much better than Ice Inferno. I still want to see some kind of boss mode implemented in this game.
I kind of wonder now too with the new course being ice, will we see something happen with those elemental shard cards being used in some way?

I'm kind of waiting for that race track course, or they would about to release a course somewhat similar to that theme? Anyways, looking forward for a new course, although the gap between release dates of each new course seems irregular; which is a good thing imo, 'cause who doesn't like favorable surprises?
And does it seems the name of the course is somewhat contradicting?
I watched the teaser video many times but I didn't know what the "thing" running was...

I'm pretty sure they mentionned twins in some of their interview forever ago but the new character turned out to be Nell.
I ended up thinking I was just lost in translation but guess not...
Anyway, thought I shared this. Perhaps will you find this new post-worthy so everyone can see?

Nell doesn't run like an animal on it's hands and feet, so if anything one of them is pepper.
Although I'd prefer if they were completely new characters, since they are adorable.
I re-read the Wiz City and Future Contents post and it says there's a new character in development, to be released this year. I kind of imagine now how the twins may work out as a team to be as one character in game, rather than two new characters that have unique set of characteristics. Eitherway, about time to have new character/s.
About Nell and her cat, Pepper, it was just a funny guess. Maybe the mysterious shard card has something to do with it to make pepper as human-like creature, or pepper was spelled on by the demon king, something like that? More funny guesses, lol.

Oh and you were thinking the same? I was thinking with how close they are shown together, that they were meant to be a team of some sort. Would be interesting to say the least.

I'm not really familiar with Pangya's lore. However, wasn't Nell formed from half of the Demon King's heart? If so, the other "half" could easily be a "twin" if it starts beating.(Or did it alread start beating?)
((Of course, I'd be completely sold if Nell had a female twin who dressed up as a male))
For the thing running, I'd guess it would be unrelated? It looks more like a rock-dog or something. While I know there are cats with tail stubs, it seems more popular on dogs, or something?
For the twins, if they're not a new character(s), they'd make super cute Caddies.
