Weekly Pangya Update #1

Server update from 1-2-11 to 1-8-11. Global server receives Nymph wings for their 22nd Gacha rare, cyber goggles and headgear on Papel lottery update, quit rate reduction event, Nell's first fragment of time rare for SSAF set, facebook event, and another drawing event. Thailand server receives Nimph wings along with Thailand game show 2011 event. Japan server announced the winners of their Umizaru self-design contest. Korea server receives three outfit sets in shop, 53rd scratch rare, and a new caddy Mingti along with her Christmas outfit to boost your combo gauge.

1) Wheel of Time Update
After a lengthy server maintenance, they brought quite a few treats for their first update of 2011. Nell fans can rejoice to receive the entire SSAF set thanks to the added installment on Cadie's Cauldron. A new item can be created from those fragments of time at long last. Although the other three server calls it either Chronos Season or Season of Chronos, Global server will be called, Wheel of Time. Be expected to see an increase price on those fragments of time for awhile now. Also note that the Wheel of Time along with any cauldron rares for Nell cannot be sold or traded. So far all of Nell's cauldron rares from other three servers requires bronze card tickets so be sure to hold on to those if you are using Nell.

2) Gacha Update
It wasn't surprising to me that they would release Nymph wings after Nell was released. It'll have the same effect as the first Gacha rare rainbow fairy wings and the 2009 cyber Monday rune fairy wings. The wings were already produced a long time ago as a farewell present from Pangya SEA servers before they shut down. The nymph wings, along with the other two wings were sold in the shop for 25,000 pangs and you'll receive +1 all stats.


For those players that plan on playing Gacha lottery only to try and win Nell's Nymph wings might want to hold onto their money. Nell will receive some of the old Gacha rares including the fairy wings. Japan, Korea, and Thailand servers already released theirs. I prefer Nell's fairy wings than the nymph since you can switch it back and forth to either Rainbow or Rune wing. Not to mention that the Rune wing looks great along with the SSAF outfit.

3) Papel Shop Update
Global is catching up to the latest Papel rares with the release of Cyber goggles and headgears. Even Thailand hasn't received them yet since they are still serving Nell's pink blush and rosey cheeks on their Papel lottery. If you take a look at my KR Papel Rares page, I confirmed that those items will give pang bonuses. However, Global and even Japan servers does not have this listed in their description. I do remember when the fox mask first came out in Japan, it didn't have any pang bonus effect, but later they added the effect in. The same case may happen to both Japan and Global in the near future, but we'll see.



4) Events
Then there are two events of another drawing contest to spend money to receive in-game currency prizes. Lastly, a facebook event where you can receive a mascot for a week that rewards you bonus pangs per shot and become a fan to boost those numbers. There's already over 10,000 fans so we'll see if it'll reach the goal.

Pangya Japan held a collaboration event for about a month already. This is not to be confused with their previous collab like Vocaloid and Code Geass. It had events where you complete on missions and comet balls in the shop. The main event is to design a theme costume from the manga, Umizaru. All the blank self-designs had a 10% discount to encourage more participants. The winners were picked this week that you can check out here. Those winners will have their designs posted up in the shop on next week's update.

1) Outfit Shop Update
Three outfits have been released for Lucia, Kooh, and Arin. Kooh's outfit has been released in Japan already, but the other two are never before seen. You may have remembered seeing Lucia's kimono outfit earlier. Arin is starting to take the path like Lucia to receive this outfit. Arin you naughty girl.



2) Caddy Shop Update
Mingti has decided to join in as a permanent caddy. Japan has done the same thing too. Mingti will also receive her Christmas outfit to boost your combo gauge. Even though the description indicates that you'll receive less than the amount, I've tested it myself and it does give one full bar regardless. Mingti will be available permanently, but her outfit will only last until 1-27-11.


The difference is that all purchaseable caddies in Korean server must have control +2. Seeing how Japan only has Power +2 & Accuracy +2, Korea has changed it to Control +2, Accuracy +1, and Spin +1 making it much better.

3) Scratch Set Update
The 53rd Scratch rare will include re-release sets of Nymph Wings, Bunny Outfits, Fairy Tale, Project G 2 + guitar, and Power Emblem. This will go on until 1-27-11.
