Pangya KR 2011 Survey

There was a survey posted up on Pangya KR's website where players can vote on what they want improved in the game. The polls started on June 30th and lasted until July 11th. So the results were already posted last week ago and I've finally had enough time to analysis most of the information to share with you the results. Keep in mind that this survey is based for the Korean community only.

100% chance of winning a scratch rare after scratching the set amount of times.

Level arrangements. (Better rewards for leveling up, more features/items to gain more exp)

Premium benefits for PC Bang services. (internet cafes)

Improve sell system. (1:1 trade, sell bundle sets together into one price)

#1. The majority voted towards scratch rares which wasn't a surprise to me. Do note that Korea's scratch card system contains Gacha rares inside. For every 10 cookies spent, you'll receive 1 scratch card. Back then, you used to gain scratch cards when you add cookies instead.

As for the winning rates, it's not all that great either from my experience. Maybe the chance of pulling a rare can be compared to Global's scratchy lottery. I've scratched a handful of cards before and I normally don't win anything decent. But the positive side is that these rares can be sellable. So pangs plays a major impact in their server.

We recently witnessed Pangya Japan rewarding your choice of any Platinum Gloves you want for one character when you reach your 50th try. Gnfkyu and Skudy confirmed the cost of that amount of tries on Japan server would be close to $124. Maybe that's way too expensive for Korea, but maybe if they did up to 50 scratch cards ($50) to automatically receive a random rare, then that might work well.

Korea's scratch system still remains the same way back in Season 2. I'm strongly looking forward to see how Korea will revamp the system to benefit players more. If Korea finds their new setup a huge success, there could be a faint possibility to see this implemented on other servers.

#2. I thought leveling up on that server was too easy. I'm surprised to see that many players voted for this.

#3. I'm not sure what other benefits they want with players using PC Bang. It already grants them 20% exp bonus, 20% pang bonus, x2.5 pang mastery bonus, infinite time boosters, free Pangya Ramyon caddie, and free Elmo mascot.

#4. Pangya KR recently extended the pang limit to 30 million earlier. This is a good step, and the idea of selling the entire bundle set into one package sounds like a marvelous idea.

#5. This is where players can input their suggestions. I'm sure there are plenty of things I could suggest, but nothing is coming up from the top of my head yet. Perhaps you have a suggestion you like to see changed?
