I've been paying a lot of attention to Compile Hearts' next sequel. In case you haven't heard, Super Dimensional Game Neptune Mk2 (or Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2) is a sequel from the first Neptunia game. The first Neptune game concentrated on game console references, and now mk2 will transition towards portable gaming. Just when you think the console goddesses from the first game looked young, the portable version is even younger.
Nepgear (Purple Heart's Little Sister)
Judging from her appearance, her personally doesn't look anything like her spunky older sister, but we'll see if she's not as empty headed as Neptune. She is determined to save the Goddesses. She comes from the Sega Game Gear version.
Uni (Black Heart's Little Sister)
Uni definitely has her older sister's sassy personally just by looking at her. It's every tsundere fans dream come true that Uni will not disappoint. She comes from the Playstation Portable version.
Rom & Ram (White Heart's Little Sister)
Although they are twins, they have opposite personalities. Rom (blue) looks reserved while Ram (pink) looks energetic. The reason why there are twins is due to the dual screen features from Nintendo DS or DSi version. Not to mention Green heart doesn't have a sister for a very good reason, so one of the twins will fill up that fourth spot.
Nepgear will have a variety of transformation outfits. Just like her sister.
The Goddesses are held captive. It's up to their little sisters to save them.
The parody cast are still here. I do like the open environment dungeons that make the game feel more lively.
A unique battle system that will have four party members and be able to switch teams during the fight.
Showcases the cast of Characters and dungeon environments in this video. The last part shows dialouge without using character image portraits? Sounds good to me! As for the music, I think it's very catchy.

Neptune mk2 is looking like a promising game to add on my list to play. I'll even go through great lengths to play the import version just so I can get first hand experience on how it's different compared to the first Neptune game. August needs to hurry up!
