Weekly Pangya Update #19

Global's 26th Gacha wanted to have their swimsuits a little early. This set is originally the 2010 version that has been released on other servers already. Who knows if Pangya plans to release a 2011 version on other servers. Here's a recap on how Korea released their swimsuit lottery each summer started from 2007.

Original 2007 Sets : Released 8-9-07

Original 2008 Sets : Released 7-15-08

Original 2009 Sets : Released 7-16-09

Original 2010 Sets : Released 8-13-09

Noticed how Korea releases their swimsuit sets around July or August?

As for the other unreleased swimsuits, I don't feel it's worth the time to figure out how they plan to release the other versions since it's really no big deal at all. At least you got to purchase the 2009 sets in the shop to grab Lucia and Kaz's hairband that's worth over 7 million pangs on Korea's server.

Arin's Red Twin Pigtails will have some mixed feelings about it. When it's angled in the right direction, it looks fine. But when you look at her straight in the face, it shows too much of her forehead that it just doesn't look right. That's just how I perceive it, whatever you think about it is entirely up to you.

The main attraction is Hana with her curvy bikini. The size hasn't changed compared to her towel set, but they focused more on sketching those voluptuous curves where it stands out above all of her previous bikinis. As a Hana player on Global servers, I approve of this.

Am I going to gamble for Hana's set? Hell no. I've invested that money already on purchasing an upgraded TV/Monitor for my office. If I want to see that bikini, I can just stare at the picture or open up my model viewer that will satisfy me for free.

There's another secret school swimsuit for Arin for this set, but that's only exclusive to Japan's server. Just in case you needed to know.

This is a nice treat that anybody can do. Each day has a prize, but if you achieve perfect attendance, you can receive one of the three grand prizes to make it worthwhile to you.

You'll have to play at least one game to count as attendance. As for me, a simple 3 hole round with one other person would do fine if I can actually keep up with that for two weeks. It may sound simple to do, but for me it'll be a chore since I'm barely on. Unless I get encouraged to play someone, then maybe there's a good chance I can succeed.

The traditional Kimonos are back for the third time in the shop for a limited time.

Pangya Goes Edo - 10-28-09
Kyoto Dreaming - 4-29-10
Return to Kyoto - 5-11-11

When Korea released their Kimono sets again the shop, they did include Nell's set that can be purchased. Global could take Japan's approach and put it under Cadie's Cauldron instead.

Japan finally got around to release the spring sets for their Papel lottery. Just like how they usually do, the previous Papel sets will still be available to win.

It's not just Global servers taking attendance, but Japan wants you to log-in each day and claim your prize. There's no involvement of having to play a game, but the prizes are decent for what you get.
