Final Fantasy XIII-2 OST

Both the soundtrack and game were released this week in Japan. The soundtrack involves a mix of orchestral, violins, and even heavy metal that's uncommon to see in a Final Fantasy title. Instead of Nobuo Uematsu composing the songs, there are other composers such as Masashi Hamauzu, Naoshi Mizuta, Mitsuto Suzuki, and Yoshitaka Suzuki. OST comes in 4 CD with a total of 79 tracks.

Paradigm Shift
This is one of the battle themes played on Final Fantasy XIII-2. The main violin brings out the true nature of this song after the short introduction builds up momentum. It fits very well with FF13-2 theme and the atmosphere that they created.

Last Hunters
Here's another alternate battle theme. The tension works the same way where the violin plays a major role. Compared to XIII with only a single battle theme, I like how they added a variety of battle themes this way.

Time Song
Warning: This song may be stuck in your head from multiple "la-la-la" that you may want to express it openly. But I trust that you won't fall for it.

Crazy Chocobo
Do you think you're ready to ride this Chocobo? Just to make this clear, it is not the main Chocobo theme of this game. The song is played when you encounter a particular Chocobo in battle. They have taken an unusual approach with this song that doesn't fit the nature of this game at all. But, a song like this has taken a huge wave on the internet already so it does bring in some sort of attention for laughs or worse.
