Weekly Pangya Update #33

Nell's birthday celebration continues with an event where items from specific courses will drop up to six times on a full 18H round. There are four ⌠Magical Pieces⌡ that's related to the classical elements such as Earth, Fire, Wind, and Water. Combine all four elements (& x4 each) together on Cadie's Cauldron to create a ⌠Magical Crystal⌡. The shop will also carry ⌠Magical Crystal⌡ on sale for 100,816 pangs each.

Magical Piece Drops

Fire (불꽃): Deep Inferno, Wind Hill, Silvia Cannon, WizWiz

Water (물): Blue Lagoon, Pink Wind, Lost Seaway, Ice Spa

Earth (대지): West Wiz, Eastern Valley, Ice Cannon, Shining Sand

Wind (바람): Blue Water, Blue Moon, White Wiz, Sepia Wind

Opening the ⌠Magical Crystal⌡ will gift you one random item that's listed below. The event period will last until September 1st.

This event gives a sense of déjà vu from the Four Gods Event. Nell's replica clubset looks like the WEB Gacha clubs from last week's update, but it doesn't contain any voices when Nell wields it. The clubs will show Nell's birthday logo when hitting Pangya. The ⌠Magical Pieces⌡ can be sold or purchased from players.

So a full 18 hole round will get you six of those pieces, and with motion item up to twelve.

You will need x4 Fire, x4 Water, x4 Earth, and x4 Wind to create x1 Magical Crystal or you can purchase one in the shop for 100,816 pangs each. Do note that they added "816" on the end to indicate Nell's official b-day, August 16th.

The 61th scratch rare ⌠Ancient Dark Feather Wings⌡ are only available for Azer, Cecilia, Kooh, Arin, and Kaz. The wings grants the wielder +1 pixel on their Pangya impact zone.

So two of the three Pangya SEA's departure wings has been revealed. I wasn't sure why they didn't include Lucia since she's one expensive girl! I do get the feeling the last wing will be making its way for the five remaining characters someday.

Nell's birthday remains the same on Korea's server, but both prize items and ⌠Magical Pieces⌡ are distributed differently compared to Japan. ⌠Magical Pieces⌡ will be fixed to drop three times on a full 18H round, and you'll need x2 of the four pieces to create a ⌠Magical Crystal⌡. Purchasing the ⌠Magical Crystal⌡ in the shop for 100,816 pangs will be there too. ⌠Magical Pieces⌡ can be sold or purchased from other players.

Pepper's Clubset and Japan's Nell's Nyan☆Clubset (replica ver.) have the same stats. The biggest drive for me the play are the clubset, scratch card, and SSC coupon. I'm definitely not going to purchase those crystals in the shop.

Five more comet balls added to the lineup that will remain permanent in the shop. The new Aztec Package (or comet package) will contain every x30 birthday comet balls excluding Nell. This package will also remain in the shop permanently.

The Aztec Package costs 23 cookies to get a variety of 270 comets total, not including Nell.

Pangya KR has introduced another new system where you can sell up to 6 different items into one price. When you open your shop, there's a check box where it says "Bundled Sales" and that triggers whether you want your items to be sold altogether, or leave it uncheck to sell your items individually.

Pangs shown on the bottom left tallies up the total amount of what they are selling. This is good to know how much you will be spending if it was to be sold in a bundle set. Before then, it used to show your pang amount instead.


When you setup your shop, click on the checkbox to make it into a one price package shop.


Buyers on their screen will be treated with only a "Buy All" button to purchase all the items listed.

I'm certain this survey had something to do with what they were already working on. This is a huge leap on improvements with their personal shops. Having both the extended 30 million pang limit and selling bundled sets into one price fits perfectly together. I'm not interested in doing private shops where I may end up getting ripped off. So instead of arranging deals in a private shops, players can freely setup their shop to sell entire set hassle free. No need to feel like you may get scammed, or having to schedule a time of meeting.

It's too bad that Korea didn't give a full explanation on how the system works. Someone who didn't know about if they were to edit their shop because the price wasn't correct, it would actually un-check the box and if you don't remember to check that box again, you may end up selling it individually instead. Also, you don't have to sell specific sets, you can customize your bundle set however you want.

I'm surprised Japan wants to take one more additional week before changing their current Gacha rare. Both Korea and Japan released the 2011 swimsuits simultaneously on July 21st, so I guess the schedule is back to where Korea will be ahead by one week on Gacha (Scratch rare) releases again. And btw, that drawing is by 이스넬프님의.

So Global server will not be updating new contents this week knowingly that Nell's birthday event has already started on other servers. I assume Korea's long 10+ hours server maintenance may have something to do with it. But, this could be according to Global's schedule since Nell's birthday does last two weeks. After two weeks of Nell's birthday event, it'll give them an easy workload to take the event out during server maintenance and update a new Gacha rare + other (cash) contents at the same time. So for now, you'll have to settle with this and this that's playing around with your money.



Nell, are you disappointed because your motion item may be ignored on your very first birthday? Well, Japan did indicate something along the lines that Nell's motion item will appear in the shop on next week's update.
