The soundtrack is taking the best Pokemon music from the anime series. There are a total of 88 tracks divided into two disc; the first disc plays music from Kanto and Johto season and the second from Hoenn and Sinnoh season. It features remarkable orchestra arrangements by Shinji Miyazaki. I always find Pokemon music very fascinating not for nostalgic purposes, but how the quality is presented is top-notch. I'd say if they use these kind of orchestrated songs for a future Pokemon console game, it would truly make the epic experience.
Fight! Wild Pokémon (Jouto)
This is my favorite wild Pokemon encounter song and listening the orchestra version sounds unbelievably great.
Battle (VS Gym Leader)
This song definitely brings the mood for an epic gym battle. You are putting your trust into your Pokemons to win you that badge. The battle becomes tough, but the spirit must stay high.
Route 38
This route song sounds very elegant. It's the kind of feeling that you are on a big adventure as you are traveling through thick grass and battling against other Pokemon trainers until you reach the next town or city.
